Trail mixes can really be a personal preference, but this is one of my favorite concoctions. (I use raw nuts and seeds that have been soaked for at least 1-3 hours and then dehydrated or dried. This deactivates the enzyme inhibitor so you get all that raw nutrition. I also think they taste better!
Harder nuts take longer to soak, while softer ones like cashews could be ready in 45 minutes.)
1/4 c cashews
1/4 c walnuts
1/4 c sunflower seeds
1/4 c pumpkin seeds
1/4 c raisins or fav dried fruit
1/4 c coconut flakes
1/4 c carob chips or cacao nibs
1/4 c goji berries (optional superfood)
Another note: make sure your dried fruit doesn’t have additional sweetener! You don’t need it.
